摘要: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) isolability, rate of viral replication, HIV phenotype, type 1 and 2 cytokine production, CD4 counts were cross sectionally analyzed in 63 seropositive (HIV+) individuals to establish possible correlations between virologic immunologic markers protection progression. We observed that these are tightly correlated. Thus, lack or low prevalence isolability the presence nonsyncitium inducing strains associated with strongest weakest highest counts. Conversely, isolation highly replicating, syncitium-inducing is lowest Additionally, it was determined interleukin (IL)-10/IL-2 ratio best discriminates among different scenarios. These data suggest correlates disease progression might be variables define two subsets HIV+ lend support a viro-immunologic hypothesis infection.
