摘要: Three Beauties of the Gobi National Conservation Park was established in south central Mongolia 1994. We performed a biological assessment parks wildlife and other biological/ecological resources from 1995-to assist conservation management initiatives. Ground aerial surveys collected data on 130 vertebrate species, several which are listed as threatened or endangered globally Mongolia. analyzed group structures estimated population sizes for goitred gazelle (Gazella subgutturosa), Mongolian (Procapra gutturosa), ibex (Capra sibirica), argali (Ovis ammon). report 20 species previously not reported park, including 17 birds, 2 mammals, 1 reptile. The park is rich diversity abundance raptors, we observed 29 raptors. Several vertebrates appear to be faring better than regions world. Under new protected areas law (1994), Protected Areas Bureau required establish zones within park. Data this study should used facilitate process.
