摘要: An in vitro test has been developed to determine drug sensitivities of bloodstream trypomastigotes Trypanosoma (T.) brucei isolates. The incorporation [14C]leucine, [3H]thymidine and [3H]hypoxanthine into forms was compared different sensitivity procedures with trypanocidal drugs were evaluated. Bloodstream added a microtiter plate serial dilutions containing cell-free culture medium supplemented mammalian serum, which allows continuous cultivation the stages. After preincubation period 16 h, added, after another 8 cells harvested cell harvester. glass fiber filters on collected counted liquid scintillation counter percent inhibition determined as percentage control counts. This method gave accurate, reproducible results for T. isolates tested suramin, berenil, samorin, lomidine Mel W.
