摘要: We describe a method for quickly and easily measuring the size of small particles in suspensions. This uses self-mixing laser Doppler measurement with laser-diode-pumped, thin-slice LiNdP(4)O(12) extremely high optical sensitivity. The average Brownian motion is determined by Lorentz fitting measured power spectrum modulated light resulting from motion. dependence spectra on particle concentration was quantitatively identified results systematic investigation polystyrene latex different diameters concentrations. sizes ratios mixed water were accurately measured. An application this estimation plankton seawater showed that it practical characterizing biological species.
