摘要: The dry weight and nitrogen content of Hymenolepis diminuta were studied after a period 15 days‘ growth in rats receiving different diets. special diets fed during the last 7 days this period, that is, while major part is occurring but before shedding proglottids. Replacement all protein (casein) diet by carbohydrate resulted greater development worm. However, replacement casein fat had no effect on worm development, indicating removal not significant factor, whereas addition effective. Since exchange nutritionally incomplete zein did affect significantly, quality appears to be factor H. diminuta. tryptophan lysine meal containing zein, order raise its nutritional value casein, influence parasite. feeding same amounts these two amino acids at times other than those giving depressed This was due type (zein) rest diet, since similar phenomenon occurs when dietary protein, or protein-free rich given.
