摘要: The presence of autoantibodies such as rheumatoid factor (RF) in patients with arthritis (RA) prompted the concept that abnormalities immune system may be important development disease [70]. This turn led to intensive studies on cells involved and their interactions homing site local inflammation. In RA, synovial membrane is characterized by lymphoid aggregates, production cytokines secretion immunoglobulins, which a proportion shows autoantibody specificity (see Feldmann et al., this volume). fact, effectively functions an ectopic organ actively response.
