摘要: The clinical importance of erythroid predominance in bone marrow patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is controversial. These cases represent a heterogeneous group diseases that historically have been classified into different categories. We studied 313 AML and specifically compared the clinical, cytogenetic, molecular features predominance, arbitrarily defined as ≥50% precursors, to without predominance. also assessed 51 high-grade myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), refractory anemia excess blasts (RAEB). All neoplasms were according World Health Organization classification. With exception therapy-related AML/MDS, presence variously categories was associated survival advantage. In addition, had lower frequency cytogenetic abnormalities well mutations involving NPM1, NRAS FLT3 conclude non-therapy-related setting are much closer those than they other types AML.
