摘要: Abstract The results of serum neutralization tests more than 3000 sera from 43 species African wildlife indicate infection with bovid herpes virus 1 is widespread and prevalent in southern Africa. Antibody was demonstrated 14 species, including 5 not previously reported. Highest titres were recorded water associated viz. waterbuck, reedbuck, hippopotamus buffalo.
