Seroprevalence of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis in mithun (Bos frontalis) in India.

摘要: Summary A preliminary study on the seroprevalence of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) in different strains mithun maintained at National Research Centre Mithun, Nagaland, India, revealed that overall prevalence IBR these was 19%. This paper examines results study. To knowledge authors, this is first report India. The highest observed found Arunachal Pradesh (38.46%), followed by those Mizoram (18.18%) and Nagaland (15.15%). None animals from Manipur were to test positive for antibodies against IBR. sex animal had no influence prevalence. be (27.03%) above three years age lowest (7.69%) aged between six months one year. 88.9% breeding bulls. In paper, authors briefly discuss possible roles feral fauna domestic livestock transmission disease vice versa. Various measures may help prevention control are also surveyed. However, it should emphasised a one, currently engaged further research.
