Some virus diseases of domestic animals in the Sultanate of Oman.

摘要: Little is known of the occurrence animal virus diseases in Sultanate Oman. This paper reports results a countrywide survey carried out 1978 to establish prevalence some important viral pathogens domestic animals with dual purpose providing baselines for future investigations and guidelines those entrusted disease control. Foot-and-mouth type O, previously identified Oman 1976, was isolated from clinically affected animals. In addition, types A Asia 1 were unaffected Serological studies indicated that infection all 3 had been widespread.
