摘要: The present study was conducted in order to assess the epidemiology and clinical course of candidemia identify risk factors associated with mortality. A total 143 episodes nosocomial were identified during a 5-year period, these included study. majority candidemic due Candida albicans (63, 44%), followed by parapsilosis (32, 22%). overall mortality 45%. following independent prognostic for identified: bacterial sepsis, rapidly fatal illness, chronic obstructive lung disease, presence central venous catheter, albicans, lack antifungal therapy.
