摘要: A granddaughter design was used to locate quantitative trait loci determining conformation and functional traits in dairy cattle. In this design, consisting of 20 Holstein Friesian grandsires 833 sons, genotypes were determined for 277 microsatellite markers covering the whole genome. Breeding values 27 traits, regarding (18), fertility (2), birth (4), workability udder health (1), evaluated an across-family analysis using multimarker regression. Significance thresholds a permutation test. The suggested presence 61 when (i.e., one each trait) expected by chance. test statistic exceeded genomewise significance threshold following chromosomes: chest width on chromosome 2; gestation length 4; stature, body capacity, size 5; character 6; angularity 12; fore attachment 13; front teat placement 19. chromosomes 2, 5, 6 may also have effect calving ease. 13 19 affect somatic cell score mastitis resistance. If there are no negative effects other economically important marker assisted selection associated with these can be applied.
