摘要: Touch sensitivity in humans is dependent on highly specialized cutaneous nerve endings encapsulated elaborate cellular structures such as the Pacinian, Ruffini and Meissner's corpuscles. Although details of encapsulations vary, common theme involves making intimate mechanical linkages with collagen-fiber networks contained within each capsule1. Presumably, it these external membrane that serve to transmit focus energy onto mechanotransducers located endings, thus contribute their low threshold high mechanosensitivity.
