摘要: Today the tool industry on a worldwide basis uses hard, wear-resistant, and low-friction coatings produced by different processes such as electrochemical or electroless methods, spray technologies, thermochemical, chemical-vapor deposition (CVD), physical vapor (PVD). In current work, two coatings, nitrocarburized (CN) titanium carbonitride (TiCN) M2-grade steel, were prepared commercial diffusion PVD techniques, respectively. Properties thickness, roughness, hardness characterized using variety of including glow-discharge optical emission spectrometry (GD-OES) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). A crossed-cylinders wear-testing machine was used to investigate performances both under lubrication. The effect performance lubricants range wear-test conditions also examined. Degradation during tribological testing explored Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.
