摘要: Use of stable isotopes to determine bioavailability minerals, by the method fecal monitoring, in human diets is discussed. Analytical expressions are developed permit prediction accuracy as a function several variables involved. The effects extent absorption, natural abundance selected isotope, and enrichment ratio administered diet on estimate absorption examined. neutron activation analysis applied isotopic measurement trace minerals including iron, zinc, copper, chromium, nickel briefly monitoring for zinc iron illustrated with data obtained healthy adult subject receiving enriched 70Zn 58Fe.
