摘要: A chemical signal, such as a scent mark, is likely to provide unique and overlapping information about the sender, including its phenotype genotype, which can be individually distinctive. Thus, response marks should context-dependent, allowing receivers adjust their responses accordingly, depending on identity of past associations, context. The chosen will, in turn, modulated by receiver's neuroendocrine system cognitive ability. particular represent balance costs benefits associated with that choice consider fact signals inadvertent public information, reflecting selective pressures placed participants.
