Some authors have stated that overdoses may be a hidden expression suicidal ideation. Participants completed baseline questionnaires follow-up interviews carried out every 6 months. Mixed-effect logistic regression models conducted. Apart from ideation overdose, variables considered model age, sex, problematic alcohol use, homelessness, injection use polydrug (≥3 drugs). RESULTS: Accidental was significantly associated with (adjusted odds ratio 1.88; 95% confidence interval 1.23-2.54). Homelessness, also significant final model. DISCUSSION CONCLUSIONS: Results show that, during follow up, independently increased risks overdose. They underscore need interventions beyond educational prevention.
