摘要: Abstract Fifteen distinct components can be identified in the scalp recorded average evoked potential to an abrupt auditory stimulus. The early (I–VI) occuring first 8 msec after a stimulus represent activation of cochlea and nuclei brainstem. middle latency (N o , P N b ) between 50 probably both thalamus cortex but seriously contaminated by concurrent muscle reflex potentials. longer (P 1 2 300 are maximally over fronto-central regions seem widespread frontal cortex.
