摘要: Abstract Habituation and dishabituation of the vertex response were studied in five human subjects who received short trains auditory (C) or somatosensory (S) stimuli. In half experiments order stimuli a train was CCCCSCC, other SSSSCSS (1 stim/sec; 1 train/min). Both C S stimulation resulted rapid habituation response. Simultaneously, stimulus generalization developed across these two modalities as heteromodal evoked whose latencies amplitudes had values lying between those observed habituated non-habituated responses to same stimulus. From neither modality could be elicited other. The results can explained on assumption that information converge subcortical centre ascend common corticipetal pathway. Thus, this study supports hypothesis is mediated by an extralemniscal system.
