摘要: Abstract This work shows the capability of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) to detect ultratraces cocaine (COC) in oral fluid (OF). It proposes a new solid substrate made gold nanorods (Au NRs) perform sensitive analyses this complex matrix without any sample pretreatment. The Au NRs were synthetized optimizing synthesis conditions, and then characterized tested as SERS substrate. presented results demonstrated that methodology was able COC OF with limit detection (LOD) low 10 ng/mL. value five orders magnitude smaller than one obtained (RS) order cut-off (8 ng/mL) established for confirmatory test OF. Besides, multivariate analysis (OPLS-DA) applied on samples analysed by evidenced it possible discriminate among various concentrations. These are quite positive because even 1 ng/mL concentration could be identified different from sample. In addition, absence pretreatment ease proposed method, allowed performing rapid non-destructive analyses, making method suitable situ forensic analyses.
