摘要: Three different sizes of immunoglobulins containing anti-dinitrophenyl activity were isolated from turtles immunized with dinitrophenyl bovine γ globulin. The sedimentation coefficients the three ∼17S, 7.5S and 5.7S their molecular weights 850,000, 180,000 120,000, respectively. 17S immunoglobulin was similar to IgM composed five subunits each a weight ∼170,000. heavy light chain 70,000 22,500, molecule had H chains ∼67,500 L chains. ∼35,000 Partial reduction resulted in formation half molecules ∼61,000. Antigenic analyses suggested that may be fragment molecule. Neither nor cross-reacted These findings are discussed relationship phylogeny structure function.
