摘要: Colorectal cancer (CRC) patients have increased levels of human neutrophil peptides 1-3 (HNP1-3) in tumour tissue and plasma. The aim is to study whether the amount HNP1-3 plasma from CRC correlate with Dukes' stages A-D. tissue, normal colonic mucosa, was determined mass spectrometry. Plasma were enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay (ELISA). spectrometry tumours compared stage A-D, whereas only elevated D healthy individuals. concentration ELISA C D, but not A B. It concluded that a potential marker for prognostic assessment, surveillance patients, monitoring chemotherapy advanced disease.
