摘要: Background Although experience with diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP in children is growing, little known about the safety technical outcomes of endoscopic papillary balloon dilation (EPBD) pediatric patients bile duct stones (BDSs). Objective To assess long-term EPBD BDSs. Design Case study. Setting Tertiary referral center. Patients Interventions This study involved 5 who had BDSs combined gallstones underwent EPBD. Main Outcome Measurements Successful EPBD, successful stone removal, procedure-related complications, outcomes. Results was all cases, cannulation subsequent Stone removal performed 1 session patients. No EPBD-related complications were observed any patient. After patient subsequently laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallstones. The remaining 4 followed without surgery. In 2 patients, spontaneously passed from into duodenum. During follow-up period, over a mean 7.1 years (range 3.7-9.3 years), no recurrence Limitations Small number Conclusions are rare may be safe effective technique management such some children.
