摘要: Atherosclerosis is the underlying process that causes most death and disability worldwide.1 It cause of myocardial infarctions, peripheral vascular disease, a large proportion strokes, contributes to much heart failure. There are several ways quantify burden atherosclerosis, quantifying change in atherosclerotic over time may be useful. These include risk stratification, evaluation contribution factors (new old) patient’s response therapy, genetic research, potential new therapies for atherosclerosis.
