Endoscopic septoplasty as a routine approach: Our experience on 647 patients.

摘要: Abstract Introduction A variety of surgical techniques septoplasty have been described. The aim the present study was to assess feasibility endoscopic as a routine approach both alone and during other sinonasal – skull base procedures. Methods retrospective all patients admitted for that were performed between January 2011 December 2017 conducted. Patients either or in combination with sinus surgery included. Data regarding postoperative major complications such post-operative hemorrhage, synechiae, septal tears perforation collected. Results 647 Postoperative hemorrhage observed 0,3% patients, synechiae 5,2% cases, and/or perforations 6,2% whole population. An incomplete correction 27 (4,2%). Conclusions technique provides better visualization allowing observe fewer complications. It can also be considered an excellent effective teaching tool.
