摘要: Nasal obstruction is the most common complaint in nasal and sinus disease. Deviated septum a very frequently encountered cause. Surgical correction of deviated septum- septoplasty- definite treatment for septal deviation. Over last 2 decades, applications endoscopy field rhinology have evolved beyond functional endoscopic surgery (FESS). Septoplasty which among three commonly performed procedures otolaryngology particularly well suited to application. Endoscopic septoplasty as minimally invasive technique can limit dissection minimize trauma flap under excellent visualization whose primary advantage decrease morbidity post operative swelling isolated deviation by limiting excision area This was retrospective study, conducted tertiary care medical college hospital over period 5 years. The study group comprised 415 patients around Nashik District; who visited our health centre were subjected septoplasty. Complete data records from available statistical analysis. Maximum numbers age 20-39. youngest patient 7 years old oldest 75 years. Mean 32 years. operated DCR congenital NLD block adjunct procedure. Even 75 years DCR. In present out cases, 256 (67.5 %) cases male 115 (32.5 %) female. There preponderance overall distribution cases. patients, procedure done 260 (62.6 %), FESS with 38 (9.2 %) septorhinopolasty 41 (9.9 %) 78 (18.3 %) facilitates good access accomplish DCR, FESS, accurate adequate graft harvest severely noses septorhinoplasty. Complications like dental pain, paraestaesia, perforation, saddle nose deformity persistent are rarity.
