摘要: We describe a class of nonparametric tests for linkage between marker and gene assumed to exist govern susceptibility disease. The are formed by assigning score each possible pattern allele sharing (identity-by-descent) among affected pedigree members, then averaging the scores over all patterns compatible with observed genotype genealogical relationship members. Different functions give different tests. One function, which examines similarity across pairs gives test similar that Fimmers et al. A second function arbitrary subsets, not just pairs, resulting can be more powerful than one based solely approach has several advantages: it does require knowledge mode disease inheritance; unambiguous determination identity-by-descent at marker; suffer from variability due chance members who unrelated, such as spouses; allows genotypes unaffected contribute information affected; permits calculation exact P-values. Computational requirements limit many pedigrees few (< 16)
