摘要: In this work, Al-based composites reinforced with Mg-based metallic glass particles are synthesized by uniaxial hot pressing and their mechanical properties analyzed. The composite powders were consolidated into highly dense bulk specimens at temperatures within the super-cooled liquid region of reinforcement. uniform distribution glassy good reinforcement–matrix interface lead to a significant strength enhancement respect unreinforced matrix along plastic deformation. relationship between structure is investigated described modified shear lag model incorporating matrix-strengthening mechanism. calculations in agreement experimental results, revealing that dislocation strengthening due presence plays major role determining composites.
