Supersonic gas separators: Review of latest developments

摘要: Abstract Supersonic separator is a new technology with applications in gas dehydration and hydrocarbon dew pointing. Many research studies have investigated the design, performance efficiency, economic viability, industrial of these separators. Experimental facilities, pilot plants, full scale platform along theoretical, analytical, numerical modelling are some tools used studies. This review has found that while several aspects this study well studied, considerable gaps within published literature still exists areas such as supersonic flows containing microscopic liquid droplets wall film.
