摘要: Many indoor localization techniques that rely on RF signals from wireless Access Points have been proposed in the last decade. In recent years, research crowdsourced (also known as “Organic”) Wi-Fi fingerprint positioning systems has attracting much attention. This participatory approach introduces new challenges no previously taken into account. paper proposes “FreeLoc”, an efficient method addressing three major technical issues posed crowdsourcing based systems. Our novel solution facilitates 1) extracting accurate values short RSS measurement times 2) calibration-free across different devices and 3) maintaining a single for each location radio map, irrespective of any number uploaded data sets given location. Through experiments using four smartphones, we evaluate our method. The experimental results confirm scheme provides consistent accuracy environment where device heterogeneity multiple surveyor problems exist.
