摘要: The Antarctic Treaty System promotes science as the basis for conserving and managing resources. 1980 Convention on Conservation of Marine Living Resources (CAMLR Convention) further advocates science, well a precautionary approach and ecosystem perspective to manage harvesting marine living This review presents case studies illustrate CAMLR Commission’s (CCAMLR) use precaution, an Antarctic fisheries. CCAMLR’s small-scale management units, bycatch measures, spatial management ecosystem-directed initiatives. These various highlight value efforts utility CCAMLR model large-scale marine management.
