摘要: Hemorrhages at the periostal-clavicular origin of sternocleidomastoid muscles are part indirectly induced autopsy findings in death by hanging. In a prospective study 178 cases hanging, clavicular hemorrhages were found 110 (a relative frequency 62%). A statistically significant association between occurrence and completeness victim's body suspension was discovered (P = 0.046) as well location ligature knot on neck 0.008).
