摘要: The assessment of melanoma by light microscopy with hematoxylin-eosin staining remains an often subjective process. However, there are additional diagnostic measures that may be utility, such as immunohistochemical and genetic evaluation. Adjunctive to augment the diagnosis includes comparative genomic hybridization or fluorescent in situ assess for gains losses material, gene expression profiling some form, ascertain genes associated malignancy. Although these techniques bolster dermatopathologic melanoma, none them, at present time, singularly diagnostic. Additional developments prognostication anticipated.
