摘要: We present a new technique of injecting clocks optically onto CMOS chips without the use receiver amplifier. discuss benefits such direct approach and proof-of-principle experiments technique. analytically compare receiver-less optical clock distribution an electrical in fan-out-of-four tree to evaluate timing power for microprocessors. also injection trans-impedance based within same framework.
