摘要: Amateur sport organisations are funded through a variety of means, including government funding, corporate sponsorship and/or private donations. In the UK and Canada, amateur programs primarily grants (Garrett, 2004; Kikulis, 2000; Slack Hinings, 1994). While have provided rich setting to examine organisational institutional theoretical concepts, there been recent calls extend this line research further (O'Brien Slack, 2004). The current study extends DiMaggio Powell's (1983) concepts isomorphic pressure by examining how different pressures complement contradict each other as they impact processes. Specifically, paper explores created Alberta Sports, Recreation Parks Wildlife Foundation (ASRPWF) on Alberta's provincial (APSOs). Results suggest that ASRPWF criteria reporting requirements operated impacting APSOs. geographic locations APSOs implementation brown bag lunch seminars also operate pressures; however, these minimise emanate from ASRPWF.
