摘要: Intracerebral dialysis was used to study the mechanism underlying behavioral sensitization. Rats were divided into two groups: a control group that received intraperitoneal injections of saline and an experimental given methamphetamine (MAP) (4 mg/kg) once day for 14 days. Seven days after last injection, dopamine (DA) its metabolites measured in striatal dialysates obtained from awake freely moving rats. A challenge injection MAP caused marked increase extracellular concentrations DA, extent significantly greater MAP-pretreated rats than saline-pretreated controls. cocaine (20 also DA levels These results suggest enhancement efflux may play important role MAP-induced sensitization cross-sensitization cocaine.
