摘要: The microbial composition of raw and pasteurized milk is assessed on a daily basis. However, many such tests are culture-dependent, and, thus, bacteria that present at subdominant levels, or cannot be easily grown in the laboratory, may overlooked. To address this potential bias, we have used several culture-independent techniques, including flow cytometry, real-time quantitative PCR, high-throughput DNA sequencing, to assess population from selection commercial producers, pre- postpasteurization. combination techniques employed reveals presence previously unrecognized diverse bacterial unpasteurized cow milk. Most notably, use sequencing resulted genera being identified samples for first time. These included Bacteroides, Faecalibacterium, Prevotella, Catenibacterium. Our analyses also indicate more than appreciated, nonthermoduric within these populations likely damaged, nonculturable form. It thus apparent application state-of-the-art approaches can provide detailed insight into could potentially future investigate factors influence populations.
