摘要: Abstract It is well known that lead-bronze widely used in the automotive industry owing to high anti-seizure property. However, because of toxicity lead, demands a lead-free copper alloy from viewpoint environment. Lead- free alloy, which has property as lead-bronze, not been yet exploited. For this reason, objective study improve using laser surface texturing (LST). In study, ring-on-ring sliding friction tester was assess effectiveness LST on lead- alloy. The upper specimens were made FCD700, while textured bottom PBC2 (lead- alloy). A Daphne Hydraulic Fluid 32 (Idemitsu) paraffinic oil lubricant. test conducted with running-in period for 10 min at load 50 N. Afterwards, increased incrementally 50 N 1600 N, coefficient measured simultaneously. results showed have better compared non-textured specimens. Based obtained experimental results, it concluded arrangement and area ratio dimples play an important role improving
