摘要: Abstract Medicinal fungi are renowned for their antitumor activity and have been used in oriental countries thousands of years. Modern medicine has documented that polysaccharides the main components responsible medicinal fungi. We reported a water-soluble component Yt from Agrocybe aegerita exhibited tumor rejection activity. The was determined to contain proteins (60%, two lectins, serine proteinase several unknown proteins), low molecular weight compounds (40%) trace polysaccharides. showed high cell lines. In tumor-bearing BALB/c mice, treatment caused (hepatocellular carcinoma H22 sarcoma S180) at concentration (2.5 mg/kg body weight) without significant toxicity. nude mouse model, did not induce changes size but prolonged lifespan. vivo data suggested induced by stimulating immune response. Spleen proliferation promoted ex treatment. When mice were treated with Yt, splenocyte cytotoxic enhanced mRNA level cytokines altered. Furthermore, sharply declined when degraded proteinase K, which Yt. Using same isolation procedure, three other Cordyceps militaris , Lentinula edodes Ganoderma lucidum demonstrated similar effects as All our findings indicated besides polysaccharides, protein possessing exist require further study.
