摘要: This study is based on data gathered by means of a postal questionnaire from cohort 640 38-year-old subjects. At the age 14 years these subjects had been interviewed their school doctor to ascertain whether any them history low back pain (LBP), and X-rays thoracic lumbar spine were taken. The contained related groups questions, with LBP as main topic. We wanted identify probable risk factors in developing LBP. results show cumulative life-time prevalence 70%, 1-year 63% point 19%, independent gender. Women reported higher incidence than men during month week before they filled out questionnaire, also sciatica greater use health care system analgestics over previous year. Heavy manual work was associated sciatica, smoking (more 16 cigarettes per day) more common among unemployed sick-listed subjects, Severe increased morbidity, reduced capacity, deterioration social life, mental sexual problems, smoking. A stepwise logistic regression analysis “early” variables indicated that severe positively correlated class for menstruation pregnancy women.
