摘要: Advanced concept or third generation solar cells rely on modification to the basic process of absorption /recombination collection increase efficiency above that from a singe junction cell. While there are number advanced approaches, feature theses is they have focused primarily inclusion single type physical mechanism. Such mechanism in general limited equivalent tandem cell which has same processes. This paper demonstrates using combinations different approaches higher thermodynamic efficiencies. Some demonstrate efficiencies either constituent and, significantly, even exceed “equivalent” structure. Moreover, such hybrid structures benefits other than increases, including reduced sensitivity materials processes difficult implement, non-idealities
