Cytologic, colposcopic, and histologic correlation in young females

摘要: The purpose of the reported study was to correlate cytologic and colposcopic patterns with histopathologic diagnosis. This accomplished in 81 young females who underwent direct biopsy because a suspicious appearance cervix abnormal or cytology. Among them 17 were intrauterine DES-exposed females. results our showed that white epithelium plus punctation, punctation alone, gland openings, mosaism, epithelium, atypical vessels most common findings compatible cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). Cytology colposcopy together as diagnostic procedures suitable successful combination for diagnosis CIN patients cervix.
