摘要: Egevad L (2012) Histopathology 60, 118–124 Handling of radical prostatectomy specimens Accurate reporting specimens is becoming more important as we gain insights into how cancer therapy should be tailored according to risk categories. Adjuvant after now given commonly patients with pathological findings indicating a high disease recurrence. The handling these must therefore standardized, enabling the correct identification histopathological factors for poor outcome. Several efforts have been made in recent years reach consensus on specimens. Some recommendations are summarized this review, including guidelines gross description, biobanking fresh tissue, fixation and cutting.
