摘要: Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been demonstrated to be a critical role in cancer progression and prognosis. However, little is known about the pathological of lncRNA HOXA transcript at distal tip (HOTTIP) tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) patients. The aim this study measure expression HOTTIP TSCC patients explore clinical significance HOTTIP. was measured 86 tissues 14 adjacent non-malignant using qRT-PCR. In our study, results indicated that highly expressed compared with (P < 0.001) positively correlated T stage (T1–2 vs. T3–4, P = 0.023), (I–II stages III–IV stages, P = 0.018), distant metastasis (absent present, P = 0.031) Furthermore, we also found overexpression an unfavorable prognostic factor (P < 0.001), regardless stage, metastasis, stage. Finally, supposed independent poor for through multivariate analysis (P = 0.023). conclusion, increased may serve as prognosis predictor Nevertheless, further investigation larger sample size needed support results.
