Functional assessment of behaviors related to Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder: Linking assessment to intervention design

摘要: A variety of behavioral interventions are effective in ameliorating the symptoms Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) children. Unfortunately, diagnosis ADHD does not provide clinicians with sufficient information to determine specific use an individual child. Functional assessment procedures have been successfully used design treatment plans for individuals exhibiting a behavior disorders. An overview functional is provided and evidence that such can lead decisions children reviewed. Finally, advantages limitations presently available methods clinical discussed.
