摘要: Left-sided ventricular arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy is rare and represents a rather different expression of the right (RV) (ARVC). Among sudden cardiac deaths, ARVC plays significant role. considered as unknown aetiology that primarily involves ventricle characterized by progressive replacement myocytes fibro-fatty tissue, complicating spectrum arrhythmias. Predominant with left (LV) involvement also reported. The LV variant minimal or no RV rare. A 31-year-old previously healthy young man, without family history, was found dead in bed. Autopsy revealed an enlarged heart asymmetrical hypertrophy widely patent coronary arteries. myocardium demonstrated evidence prominent epicardial tissue predominantly fatty nature infiltrates into myocardium. Microscopy free wall showed infiltration aspect extends well mid-myocardium. moderate to marked degree interstitial fibrous deposition noted about adipocytes cardiomyocytes. There chronic ischaemic changes myofibre disarray. normal myocytes. This report highlights case which confirms previous observations could occur RV. Further studies are required this context elicit exact disease.
