摘要: Abstract Right ventricular dysplasia, a heart muscle disease of unknown cause, anatomically characterized by variable replacement myocardial with adipose or fibroadipose tissue, is usually considered selective disorder the right ventricle. However, concomitant left involvement has been noted in few cases. The aim this study was to evaluate prevalence and characteristics as well possible progression disease. Thirty-nine patients dysplasia were studied M-mode two-dimensional echocardiography; 28 them also underwent cardiac catheterization, 25 endomyocardial biopsy performed. On first examination ventricle normal patients, whereas remaining 14 abnormalities associated involvement, asynergic areas (12 patients) diffuse mild hypokinesis (two patients). During follow-up (27 84.1 ± 66.1 months) 10 showed worsening function; nine appearance observed. Five died (four congestive failure one suddenly). Results postmortem (available two atrophy myocells massive fatty fibrous infiltration wall, degenerative changes fibrosis In conclusion, may be appears progressive some instances.
