摘要: Bovine papillomaviruses (BPVs) are group of worldwide-spread DNA virus that infect primarily cattle determining diseases considerable economic relevance. Recently, research on BPVs, received a great impulse owing to the development specific biomolecular analysis, mostly based L1 gene sequencing, resulted in identification new viral types. This work is aimed at and molecular histopathological characterization BPVs circulating North West Italy, one main national breeding areas. In this study, 71 bioptic specimens were submitted both histological examination PCR sequencing analysis. Histopathology revealed various lesion types; however, no connections demonstrated between involved types findings. BPV was all analyzed samples several detected. Particularly, investigations broad diffusion highly pathogenic BPV1 2 Deltapapillomavirus presence BPV3 9 Xipapillomavirus. Two cases co-infection also demonstrated. Phylogenetic analysis different clusters therefore noteworthy genetic variety among study provides information Italy our results demonstrate complexity epidemiology which characterized by circulation multiple even inside single herds. Knowledge prevalence milestone for appropriate prophylactic therapeutic measures.
