摘要: The ideal prime for Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) has never been fully established. development of acid-base disorders during some routine cases and the possible contribution to this from priming fluids caused hospital question its protocol. As a result, we conducted survey UK perfusion units analyse current practice. response rate was 74%. It found that no two in used same prime. most common reason fluid choice historical beliefs there appeared be little perceived association between acidosis on bypass. results revealed is consensus preferential CPB, suggesting effect aspect not understood.
