摘要: Abstract The physical sustainability of deltaic environments is very much dependent on the volume water and sediment coming from upstream way these fluxes recirculate within delta system. Based several past studies, combined mean annual load Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna (GBM) systems has previously been estimated to vary 1.0 2.4 BT/year which can be separated into components flowing Ganges (260 680 MT/year) Brahmaputra (390 1160 MT/year). Due limited data small contribution Meghna system (6–12 MT/year) total flux GBM system, not considered in analysis assuming GB as GBM. However, this paper our concentration (1960–2008) collected by Bangladesh Water Development Board shows that lower: 150 590 MT/year for versus 135 615 MT/year Brahmaputra, with an average around 500 MT/year. Moreover, new provides a clear indication delivered through two major river following declining trend. In most planning documents Bangladesh, assumed constant value 1 billion tons, while present study indicates true may 50% lower than (with decreasing trend 10 MT/year).
